Your clients, checked before they reach you.
The E-2 Reality Check is a three-minute self-assessment of the business side of a case: capital, deployment, operations, visibility, projections, paper trail. Send a client your firm's link and they arrive at intake already knowing which parts of the business are thin, and what closes each gap.
Business consultancy, not a law firm. You own the case.
What your client sees
Your name on every screen.
Type a firm name below and watch it move through the four screens your client sees. Nothing here is stored; it's a preview.
The logo stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
The E-2 Reality Check.
Ten questions, three minutes, no login. A traffic-light picture of the business side of your case.
Prepared for clients of Your Firm LLP
Why send it
Fewer marginal consultations. A client who has seen six red rows already understands why the business needs work before the file does.
A shorter first meeting. The check produces a plain summary the client can paste into an email to you, so intake starts from facts.
Nothing to install. One link. Put it in your engagement email, your intake form or your site.
If a client needs the plan written. An E-2, L-1 new office or NIW plan: two weeks, $1,500 fixed, credited if the client goes on to the 90-day build, two rounds of revisions plus whatever your review requires.
Also available under your firm’s name. The O-1 Evidence Map, for clients whose case rests on a record rather than an investment.
If you want to see how I write one, my own filed plan is pulled apart here.
How it works
01
You send the details.
Firm name, logo, the contact line you want under the result, and where the button should go.
02
You get a link.
A link like juergenpretsch.com/check?via=yourfirm, carrying your branding from the intro through the questions to the result.
03
Results come to you.
Your client gets their result by email if they ask for it. Your firm gets a copy at the address you nominate. I get an anonymized record only.
Privacy
What is stored, and by whom.
Nothing is stored unless the client asks for their results by email. When they do, the record holds their answers, score, name, email address and the link they came from. Results are emailed to the client and to your firm. My own notification is anonymized: band, score and your slug, with no name and no email address. No referral fees move in either direction.
Set up your firm's link
One business day, no cost.
Tell me the firm and where results should go. I'll reply with your link and a two-line intro you can paste into your engagement email.
Questions
What does it cost the firm?
Nothing. The check is free for your clients and free for you. It exists because prepared clients make better cases, and better cases occasionally need the work I do.
Do you contact our clients?
No. Results go to your client and, if you want them, to your firm. I only see an anonymized record: the score and the link it came from, no name and no email address.
Is this legal advice?
No. The check looks at the business side only: capital, deployment, operations, visibility, projections and paper trail. Your firm owns the case and the advice.
How long does setup take?
One business day. Send the firm name, a logo and the line you want under the result, and you get a link back.
Can we use it for cases other than E-2?
The Reality Check scoring is E-2 specific. For O-1 clients the O-1 Evidence Map works the same way under your firm's name, on the same slug. For L-1 new office and NIW clients the plans are available at the same price, and the pages are linked under these questions.
What does it cost if a client asks you to write the plan?
Two weeks, $1,500 fixed for an E-2, L-1 new office or NIW plan, credited if the client goes on to the 90-day build, two rounds of revisions plus whatever your review requires.
What does the white-label Reality Check cost a law firm?
Nothing; it is free for the firm and free for the client.
How fast is setup?
One business day from the details to a working link.
Who sees the client's results?
The client, and your firm at the address you nominate; my copy is anonymized.
The plans for other case types: the L-1 new office plan and the NIW plan, both $1,500 fixed.
When a client's business exists only on paper, that is the part I build.
