Write & build
I write as you. Then I build the thing it lives in.
Essays, newsletters, LinkedIn, keynotes and books, in your voice, in English or German. Fourteen years of it, and more than fifty ghostwritten books, from management, psychology and health to the occasional novel. And when your words need somewhere to live, I build that too: the positioning, the site, the prototype.
so the thing is, um, most founders, they write like, like, a press release, and nobody, nobody talks like that
Most founders write like a press release. Nobody talks like that, and nobody reads it either.
Your words, kept. The rest, cut.
What I write
Anything that has to sound like you.
Essays and op-eds. The pieces that carry your thinking into the world.
Newsletters. Written every week, in your voice, without you staring at a blank page.
LinkedIn. Posts and articles that sound like a person, because they sound like you.
Keynotes and talks. Openers, full talks and the version you can actually say out loud.
Books. Business, psychology and health non-fiction, mostly. The form I've written most.
Positioning and site copy. The words on the page people land on after they hear you speak.
Proof, without names
Fourteen years. More than fifty books.
More than fifty ghostwritten books, mostly non-fiction in management, psychology and health, plus a few novels. Blogs, newsletters, LinkedIn profiles and website copy for founders and executives. In English and in German, natively.
You won’t find a client list here. My own name is on poetry and fiction at Uptown Press and on the essays on this site. Forward Thinking Press is my non-fiction imprint for founders and executives in the German-speaking world. Everything else belongs to the people whose names are on it.
How it works
Start small. Go as far as it's useful.
01
Sample piece.
$500, five business days. One finished piece, 600 to 900 words, from a thirty-minute call. Money back if it doesn’t sound like you; credited in full if you start the 90-day build within thirty days. The Sample piece
02
90-day build.
$18,000, paid in three parts. It starts with two weeks of voice guide and positioning, then the site or prototype shipped, twelve long-form pieces and your channel launched.
03
Monthly retainer.
$5,000 a month, three-month minimum. I keep writing, the presence stays alive, the product keeps moving.
The book: from $40,000, six to nine months, for clients I’ve already worked with.
How a piece gets made
01
We talk.
A recorded call. I ask, you talk. Send me anything you've already put out, or nothing.
02
I listen for the voice.
How you build a sentence, what you reach for, what you never say.
03
I write as you.
A full draft, not an outline.
04
You mark what isn't you.
I fix it. The second piece is faster than the first, and the tenth is faster still.
05
You publish.
Under your name. Mine isn't on it.
Who this fits
Founders, executives and experts with something to say and no time to say it well, in English, German or both. Not for anyone who wants twenty posts a week, and not for anyone who wants me to invent an opinion they don’t hold.
One exception
If you’re preparing an O-1 petition, anything submitted as your authorship has to be written by you. For that material I edit, structure and coach instead of ghostwriting. The O-1 page explains why
Questions
Do I own it?
Yes. Once it's paid for, it's yours, with your name on it and not mine.
Will anyone know?
Not from me. I don't name clients or publish their work; NDA on request, and credit only if you want it.
What if I don't know what my voice is?
Most people don't until they read it on the page. The call and the voice guide find it; you don't have to arrive with it.
German?
Natively, and English too. If you publish in both, I write in both.
How much of my time does it take?
Less than writing it yourself: a recorded call to start, then reading drafts and marking what isn't you.
Can you write my book?
Yes; books are most of what I've ghostwritten. I take book projects with clients I've already worked with, usually after a 90-day build, because a book needs the voice worked out first.
